Nature Mandalas
These nature mandalas are created digitally using my photography of natural subjects.
Creating mandalas is a meditative healing art practiced by different cultures and religions around the world, most notably Tibetan Buddhism.
I enjoy the process of making the nature mandalas as much as I enjoy looking at them. Finding the right photograph and choosing the right section of the picture to manipulate is challenging. I will sometimes go out and shoot just to have material to work with for mandalas. The pieces themselves could be used as meditation aides.
Nature Mandala Postcards
I’ve created three different Mandala Postcards, printed on a high quality cardstock with a matte finish. The colors really stand out nicely against the white background.
